Downtown Bentonville jumps into the 4th of July weekend with the First Friday event - Mom, Baseball and Apple Pie. Live music, great food, hot dog and pie eating contests, the NWA Naturals and a wide variety of games and crafts for the whole family. The event runs from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. First Fridays are the first Friday of every month on the Downtown Square.

All proceeds benefit the First Christian Church of Rogers Youth Outreach Ministries. $5 for the 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run before June 15; $10 after, $20 for the 5k before June 15, $25 between June 15 and July 3, $30 5k on race day. Join us after the race for a free pancake breakfast while the results are compiled.

On July 4th, the Bentonville Farmers Market will host a 4th of July Kids Parade Around the Square. Stop by the Wal-Mart Visitors Center from 8:00 am – 9:45 am to get the red, white and blue supplies to jazz up a bike, trike or wagon. The parade will begin at 10:00 am in front of the Wal-Mart Visitors Center and go around the Square, ending up in front of The Station Café on Main Street. Cecil at The Station Café will be providing free ice cream cones to the children that participate in the parade.
